Quick Introduction to Indian Cooking
This is the most basic and easiest class for beginner cooks and people who are not familiar with Indian cooking but want to learn to cook a good Indian meal with a few additions like snacks, chutneys, drinks and desserts. Over a duration of 5 hours, your cooking instructor will teach you the about usage, history and finer points of various spices, masalas (spice blends), dishes you will learn to cook and various other important facts which make for a great Indian food dish. The knowledge imparted in this cooking class helps the guests grasp the basic principles of Indian cooking which are applicable in most major Indian cuisines, The average duration of this cooking class is 5 hours and includes the a number of dishes which include snacks, drinks, desserts, main course, breads, vegetables dishes, lentils etc. by default. If the guests need to add or remove any dish, it can be done depending upon it’s feasibility based upon factors like cooking time, ingredients etc.
In this class, you will learn to cook the following Indian dishes:
- Snacks: pakora
- Indian breads: roti & paranthaa
- Masala chai
- 1 daal (lentil), 3 vegetables
- Rice / Pulaao
- Chutneys (dhaniya -pudina)
- Dessert: halwa
Average duration : 5-6 hours

Cost: Rs 7500 per guest, Rs 6500 on purchase of 2 or more slots.
Transport: Free pickup and drop provided from most areas in central Delhi like Connaught Place, Karol Bagh etc. For places in Delhi outside this zone, a charge of INR 1500 is applicable.
